The dream for the Wild Paw is rooted in respect for the land, for others, and for the shared spaces we all move through.

As an avid outdoor enthusiast, Wild Paw’s founder Laura has built her life around time spent outside with her own dogs — exploring, learning, and staying connected to the natural world. ThThrough Wild Paw’s community, she aims to help dog owners feel more connected to the life they want with their dogs, and to each other, through a more intentional and shared way of experiencing the outdoors.

As a dog trainer and behaviour consultant, Laura has over a decade of experience working closely with people who are deeply committed to their dogs and the life they share together. Her work is grounded in the belief that dogs and their humans thrive when they are understood, supported, and able to move through the world together with purpose.

  • Yes! This space is built for dog people and we love when your four-legged companions come along too. We encourage you to bring your dog while you shop so we can help you find the right fit for their needs.

    Please keep in mind, if your dog is reactive or prefers more space, that’s completely okay. We just ask you make sure you do what feels best for them, and the pups and people around them. We also offer solo shopping opportunities upon request — please fill out our contact form to set something up!

  • Yes, we offer weekly delivery to Britannia Beach and Furry Creek. Please give us a call, fill out our contact form, or, visit us in person to set up a delivery.

  • We offer a curated mix of functional and lifestyle dog supplies, including:

    • Adventure-ready harnesses, leashes, and packs

    • Weather-resistant gear for rain, snow, and coastal terrain

    • Natural treats and travel-friendly food options

    • Dog lifestyle accessories and locally made goods

  • Yes — community is at the heart of everything we do. We host and support local dog-friendly events, regular group hikes and walks, expert-led workshops and gatherings throughout the Sea to Sky corridor. Our goal is to build connection between dog owners who love their pups and exploring our beautiful backyard as much as we do.

  • Absolutely. We love supporting small-scale makers and ethical brands, and carrying products from local and Canadian makers wherever possible.

  • Yes. We offer a curated selection of gifts for dog lovers, including gear, treats, toys, training supplies, and local goods for both new pups and long-time dog owners.

  • We are located in the heart of Britannia Village, serving the wider Sea to Sky region including Squamish, Whistler, North Vancouver and surrounding communities throughout the corridor and Lower Mainland. You can visit us in person at unit #103 at 106 Prospector Way, Britannia Beach, BC.
